As expected, developer and hacker, XiaBo has released CydiaPro, the third update of their official jailbreak for iOS 9 - iOS 11.2.2 and iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
CydiaPro is based on the tfp0 iOS 11.2.2 exploit or async wake vulnerability which was released by Ian Beer few days back. It is a semi-tethered jailbreak, like most modern jailbreaks, which means that you will need to put the iOS device in jailbreak mode after every reboot, and resign the jailbreak app every 7 days if you’re using the free Apple Developer account. The jailbreak currently does not include Cydia, as it hasn’t been updated for iOS 11. However, it is not clear if saurik will be updating download Cydia for CydiaPro, as he has been working with “people from past jailbreaks”. CydiaPro supports the following iOS 11 versions:
It supports all iOS 11 compatible iOS devices:
You can download the CydiaPro IPA file from the official website. Avoid using mirrors as they could include malware. CydiaPro is free like most jailbreaks, so if someone is asking you to pay for it, then it is most likely a scam. Levin has mentioned that the only time the jailbreak fails is on devices he doesn’t have offsets. If the jailbreak fails then you can report it on his forum. Update: If you need help then you can follow our step-by-step tutorial: This is the third release candidate, so we would recommend readers to wait to get feedback before trying it yourself. If you’re new to jailbreaking then we would recommend waiting for Mobile Substrate and Cydia compatible with iOS 11 to be released first, and a jailbreak that pre-installs Cydia. Please do not install Cydia from unknown resources. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we have any further updates.
